Welcome to Pedal Power
The Pedal Power Race Team is one of Scotland's best known cycling clubs and are currently ranked 5th in the East of Scotland. Established in 2000 out of the well known bike shop in West Calder of the same name by twice Scottish downhill champion Jonathan McBain, the club covers many aspects of the sport including road racing, cyclocross and mountain biking.

The club is also the main feeder team for Scotland's only pro road racing outfit, Endura Racing. Now in their second season, many of the Endura riders have won several major races and they also took part in the UK's successful Pro Tour Series during the 2009 season.  

During the main racing season the club meets every Tuesday night for a 30-mile chaingang which is split into three dicsiplines - 1st group with an average speed of 18mph, the 2nd group with an average speed of 20mph and a scratch group which contains some of the clubs top racers and Endura pro-racers has an average speed of 24mph+. Each group departs 5mins apart. Everyone is always made welcome and they start at 1830hrs from the Pedal Power shop in West Calder (normal months of operation - April through to September).

During the winter months the club also operate easy Saturday and Sunday training runs as well as turbo training session at Livingston Cricket club.

There are also numerous mountain biking events to take part in as well as winter runs at Glen Tress.

Several of the club members also take part in cyclocross racing during the winter season.
