Jonathan was a successful MTB rider in the late 1990's and into 2000 riding for the British Karrimor MTB team. During this time, Jonny won several major titles including the Scottish MTB Cross Country championships twice and the British MTB Hill Climb championships. He has also been the Scottish Cyclocross champion 3 times.
